National park “Sutjeska” is, without a doubt, the most beautiful piece of land in Bosnia and Herzegovina. There. We’ve said it. This is a very special tour because you will explore both the Tara river canyon and parts of Sutjeska NP, a trully wholesome experience for everyone. Additionally, rest and recharge in our camp, try out delicious domestic cuisine, swim in the Tara river, enjoy the breathtaking views over Perucica primeval forest and from Prijevor plateau.

On day one we welcome our guests to our campsite, probably late afternoon. Our staff will give you a quick tour of the campsite and show you to your bungalow. There you can chill, have a shower, rest until dinner time. Dinner will be server after 8pm in our restaurant. You can learn more about the food in our camp by visiting the Pages > Food in the main menu. After the dinner you can enjoy near the campfire with others, listen to live music or do as you please.
After a good night sleep we will serve the breakfast for our guests in the restaurant around 9am. Traditional Serbian breakfast with eggs, sausages, prosciutto, freshly baked bread, cheese and more! One important thing - If you are vegan or vegetarian please let us know when making a reservation so we can notify our chef in time. After the breakfast our guests should get ready for Tara rafting adventure! Our guides will help you with the gear, make sure to choose a fitting suits, boots and jackets and get ready for a short trip. From our camp, we travel to Brstanovica. Oh, and by the way this is around 11pm. This is an hour trip so get comfy. Upon our arrival to Brstanovica, our guides will hold a briefing. They will teach you about the rules, tips and general behaviour during the rafting. It will be a short brief. Rafting is safe and you are in safe hands. Keep in mind we will make short stops so you can enjoy, swim, explore the waterfall and take pictures. Rafting tour duration can be anywhere from 3-4 hours depending on the water levels. When this is all done, we go back to the camp so you can shower and have lunch. After the lunch you are free to do as you please, chill in the restaurant, meet-and-greet other guests, play sports or just sleep until It's dinner time. We will serve dinner at 8pm. After the dinner you can join others at the campfire, sing, enjoy the live music or do something else - your choice.
The breakfast is served between 9-10am. After the breakfast all the participants of this tour will head to Sutjeska NP with our transportation vehicles. It will take around an hour to get to Tjentiste, and from there we go to first viewpoint above primeval forest Perucica called Dragos sedlo. A breathtaking view from this viewpoint is indeed something special. Take photos of the forest and your group and after a short pause we continue our journey to Prijevor plateau, beneath the rocky Maglic. Dragos sedlo viewpoint sure is amazing but wait until you get to a viewpoint on Prijevor. Prijevor is surrounded from all sides by giants, mountain peaks all over 2000m high - Maglic, Volujak, Snjeznica and Zelengora and there is even a natural well. Best thing is - we are having lunch on Prijevor plateau! How cool is that? After the lunch we will transport you back to our campsite. This arrangement ends in our camp.
Airport transfers are not included in the price of this tour, however you can book for an arrival transfer in advance. In this case a tour operator representative will be at the airport to greet you. To arrange this please contact our customer service team once you have a confirmed booking.
You will sleep in mountain huts or apartments in our camp, depending on what you choose or what's available in the moment of booking. All of our units are cozy and have private bathrooms.
Delicious homemade fresh food made in our restaurant will satisfy everyone's needs. If you are a vegan or vegetarian, plese let us know when booking a tour so we can notify our chef. When the season starts in May water levels are higher and if you are adrenaline junkie or love these types of tours make sure to book early May. Later in July and August water levels are lower, river is slower, chill vibes with friends and family. Your call.
Yes, you can. Kids age 6-16 can join us and they will not pay the full price either. They get the discounts and you get the bill. :)
What difference does it make? You're getting wet one way or another. Tara river rafting is awesome in both cases. We say "there is no bad weather, only bad attitudes..." Again, you can skip/cancel that day. No worries.
4 minimum, 8 max per boat, if there are more of you we will just use more boats. If there are two of you (usually couples) we will add you to existing group.
