This tour goes throughout the National park Sutjeska and towards the most beautiful lake in all of Montenegro, heart-shaped Trnovacko lake. Starting point of this hiking tour is from Prijevor plateau, you can learn more about Prijevor here.
It is a 5km long hiking tour, takes around 2 hours but it is worth it. Yes, you can swim in the lake, we will make a pause when we get there.
Around 9 AM, we get ready to depart for Sutjeska National Park, specifically the Prijevor plateau, from where we’ll begin our hike to Trnovačko Lake.
Our first stop by vehicle is the Perućica rainforest in Sutjeska National Park, at the Dragoš Sedlo viewpoint. From there, you can take photos and enjoy breathtaking views of untouched nature, the Skakavac waterfall, and the surrounding mountain peaks.
After that, we head to another viewpoint located on the Prijevor plateau. This is where our hiking tour to Trnovačko Lake begins. The trail is about 5 km long and will take at least 2 hours — possibly less or more, depending on the group’s pace.
Once we arrive at Trnovačko Lake, you’ll have time to relax, swim, and enjoy the surroundings. Each participant will receive a lunch pack.
We return to the camp around 4 PM, where you can shower, pack up, and this marks the end of your arrangement.
